About
Expertise in professional safety in the oil and gas business.
Chris Parks worked in various areas of the oil and gas business, manufacturing companies and the biotech industry as a member of multiple Operational Leadership Teams in all phases of HSE. Chris has been a Certified Safety Professional since 1998 and received certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt in 2005.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with a Safety Option from Texas A&M University as part of the class of 1991. Additionally, Chris earned a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering with an Ergonomics focus from the University of Houston in 1997 and an MBA through the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs in 2001.
Chris has worked as an adjunct Professor with Odessa College in Odessa, Texas since 2001 as part of the Associate of Applied Science faculty in Occupational Safety and Health Technology. Chris teaches Physical Hazards Identification, Training Presentation Techniques and Physics through Internet based classes.
Chris is married to Jennifer Mathis Parks and has two daughters, Emily and Aubrey.
