Methodology & Approach
My approach to expert work is grounded in objectivity, preparation, and credibility. I conduct thorough reviews of medical records, regulatory requirements, and testimony to develop well-supported opinions that reflect accepted standards of care and real-world clinical practice. I focus on clear, honest communication and practical explanations that resonate with attorneys, judges, and jurors, ensuring complex healthcare issues are presented accurately, confidently, and in a manner that supports informed decision-making.
Expert Witness Experience
I provide expert witness and legal nurse consulting services that combine clinical credibility with clear, relatable communication. Drawing on more than 15 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Director of Nursing, and Nursing Home Administrator, I am able to translate complex medical and regulatory concepts into language that jurors can easily understand.
I connect with jurors as people by explaining not only what happened clinically, but why it mattered to the individuals involved. This ability to humanize the facts, while maintaining objectivity and accuracy, supports informed decision-making and contributes to clear, persuasive testimony that leads to successful legal outcomes.
