Dr. Green teaches psychology and neuropsychology at Tufts University School of Medicine. He trains clinicians in psychology and neuropsychology at Tufts Medical Center.
Dr. Green, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist who practices neuropsychological testing with 14 years of experience conducting comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological evaluations. He is licensed in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and PsyPact states. His practice integrates advanced training in clinical and medical hypnosis, making him uniquely qualified to assess suggestibility, memory reliability, undue influence, and psychological manipulation in both clinical and forensic contexts.
Dr. Green trained at multiple VA Medical Centers and participated in weekly clinical meetings at the National Center for PTSD in White River Junction, Vermont, establishing deep expertise in PTSD, trauma‑related disorders, and veterans’ disability evaluations. He completed his APA‑accredited internship at the Albany Psychology Consortium, with rotations across inpatient psychiatry, outpatient medical settings, and the VA system.
He currently practices at Tufts Medical Center and serves on the faculty at Tufts University School of Medicine, where he teaches psychiatry residents and psychology trainees in neuropsychological assessment, psychological testing, psychotherapy, and clinical hypnosis. He also directs a medical hypnosis clinic and supervises multiple trainees in neuropsychological assessment.
Dr. Green’s combined expertise in hypnosis, suggestibility, and cognitive assessment positions him as an expert in cases involving false memories, undue influence, will contests, capacity evaluations, and psychological harm. His neuropsychological background allows him to evaluate complex presentations involving traumatic brain injury, chronic pain, somatic symptom disorder, conversion disorder, ADHD, and functional cognitive impairment.
He also conducts disability evaluations, personal injury assessments, and consultations with insurance companies regarding medical necessity and prior authorization for neuropsychological testing.
Dr. Green regularly evaluates individuals with chronic pain conditions, including pain catastrophizing, somatic symptom presentations, and functional neurological symptoms, integrating psychological and neurocognitive findings to clarify diagnosis and impairment.
