Ben Levitan

Ben Levitan is an electrical engineer and has been a key developer of the US and worldwide cell phone system for more than 25 years. He is experienced in the design of mobile phone systems. He currently works as a consultant in wireless, mobile and broadband telephone systems. He is part of the group of engineers who created 2G-6G. He has worked as the Senior Manager of Global Technology Standards for Sprint, Verizon, Nextel, GTE, and was a United States delegate to the United Nations committee on telecommunications for 12 years. He has 12 published patents, 27 applications and holds four (4) trade secrets developed in the field of cellular telephone systems and technology, and is the author of several books on Cell Phone technology. His projects include Wireless 911, Cellular Wiretap, and Local Number Portability. Mr. Levitan now consults, and acts an expert witness in patent infringement, criminal and civil legal cases involving cellular and GPS technology He is frequent guest on television and new media as an expert in cell phones. He was a regular guest on the Nancy Grace Show and been seen on Dateline NBC, CNN, Fox and crimes specials. He has testified in over 100 civil, criminal and patent cases, in state and federal court.
